CAPM® or PMP® — which should I take?
If you have 3+ years leading projects, go straight for PMP® — it carries more weight and salary impact. If you’re a student, fresher, or have under three years’ experience, CAPM® is the right entry point: no experience needed, and it sets you up to upgrade to PMP® later. Not sure? Do I need any work experience for CAPM®?
No. CAPM® requires only a secondary diploma and 23 hours of project-management education — which this course provides. It’s the most accessible PMI® credential.
Does this give me the 23 education hours I need?
Yes. On completing the programme you receive a 23-hour certificate that satisfies PMI’s education requirement to sit the CAPM® exam.
Is the PMI exam fee included?
No. The CAPM® exam fee (US$225 for members / US$300 for non-members) is paid directly to PMI. Our training fee is ₹7,900 + GST. We’ll guide you through PMI membership and exam booking.
What if I don’t pass the exam?
You’re covered by our free re-attend guarantee: attend the full programme and follow our study plan, and if you sit the exam without clearing it, re-train free within 12 months, with mock exams and doubt-clearing until you are ready.
Is CAPM® actually worth it for a fresher in India?
For breaking into project coordination/management roles, yes — it signals to employers that you understand PM fundamentals and the same body (PMI) that runs the PMP®. It won’t replace experience, but it gets your CV shortlisted and gives you a credible head start. We’ll give you a straight answer for your specific situation.
