 The Importance-
1. International Chamber of Commerce, Paris has revised INCOTERMS 2000 and new edition of Rules under INCOTERMS 2010 is announced. These rules are effective from 1.1.2011. Certain earlier terms are deleted and new terms are added.
These new terms are of vital importance to Exporters, Importers, Logistics Companies, CHAs, Banks and all those who are into the international trade.

2. ECGC is Government of India’s undertaking. It aims to insure the risk of credit in the export business. ECGC issues various policies to cover the probable risk of credit granted to overseas parties.

Objectives-

  • To make the participants understand with the importance Incoterms 2010 and procedure of ECGC

  • To familiarize the participants with various terms Involved in export import activities.

  • To familiarize the participants with various policies of ECGC And their procedure.
